♥ Gotta Wait 'Til July!
I'm officially the CEO of trustnoevil Designs! Haha! I got my business name registered, I got registered as a business AND I have my business license to sell from my city! I'm all ready and set to go - BUT . . . I'm going to wait until the second week of July to open my shop on Etsy. My reasons for this are quite simple: I'm going on a two week vacation in less than three weeks from now, AND I need to stock up my inventory with product first!
I do have a handful of things to sell if I did open today, but I think it'd be wiser to have a bit more in stock before opening. I'm currently running a bit of an assembly line in my dining room for some zipper pouches I'm making. I've cut out a bunch of the pieces for several different colours, so all that's left to do is sew them together. I find that I'm a little bit more productive that way. It's the same way in the frame shop I work at.
Oh! Today I recieved three more packages in the mail - all Etsy purchases, lol! I also recieved another one last week too - my second order from Gourmet Soaps! This time I bought some Bamboo Scrubbies which came with a 2oz bar of soap and I chose Ginseng & Ginger - it smells amazing! And I also bought a 2oz bar of Sweet Cranberry - which also smells AMAZING! I can't get enough of her soaps! I just purchased two more items from her shop and can't wait to get them in the mail!

The other items I recieved in the mail today were some zippers from zipit, some fabric from MarasFabric, and a small soap sample from NemesisProductions! Very exciting indeed! But I'll need to stop spending money for a while unfortunately because I have a lot of big expenses coming up this month and next month.
I've gotta pay $150 for my tickets to California this month, and another $90 for my website hosting as well. While I'm on vacation I'm going to try and budget myself and TRY to stick to under $300 USD for the two weeks. Thankfully I'll be staying with a friend for the first week in California, and which my grandparents for the second week in Washington. I've been able to save a LOT of money by not staying at hotels and such, hehe.
Anyway, I should stop procrastinating and get back to work. I've taken too many breaks today, lol! It's nice to take a break when I want to - and even enjoy a drink while I'm at it... responsibly, of course! =] My back is hurting a bit so I think instead of going back to working on my zipper pouches, I'll be working on my website. I have a lot of links to add!
Take care,
Jen.
